Canada 150 - Students from 14-19 are invited to respond to  “What is Canada’s greatest opportunity or challenge facing your generation?”, see this link to enter this National competition, and win a trip!


Speaker’s Speech Writing Contest: “What does Parliament mean to you?” To commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary, the Speakers of the Senate and the House of Commons are hosting a speech writing competition for Canadians aged 12 to 17. Click link for more information and to apply.


Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) - Name the Foal  - This year, in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) needs help from students up to 14 years old to name 14 foals born this spring at the RCMP breeding farm in Pakenham, Ontario. A winner will be selected from each province and territory in Canada.
Mail entries must be submitted postmarked no later than April 26, 2017, and online entries must be received no later than April 30, 2017. Additional information is available at www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/name-foal-contest.
