McMaster University Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences Program is offering a Free two-day STEM-related event taking place on Wednesday July 28th AND Thursday July 29th for all female-identifying high school students.
This event will give students the opportunity to:
Learn about basic coding, design thinking and sensors
Get mentored by upper-year iBioMed students
Work in teams to design solutions to real-world healthcare problems
Learn presentation skills and present their team designs to a panel of faculty and student judges
Develop their interpersonal AND technical skills
There is an early-bird registration deadline of Friday June 4th, 2021 (early-bird registrants will be sent an iBioMed swag pack)
The last day to register is Monday July 19th, 2021
Not only will this event introduce students to the world of STEM and post-secondary education, but students will also gain transferable skills that can be incorporated into their high school studies.
